Bethlehem means “the House of Bread”. The Bread of Life (Jn 6:35) was born there – in Bethlehem. He came for us! Boaz, the great grandfather of David, became the kinsman redeemer for Ruth – in Bethlehem – the City of David. Jesus – born in Bethlehem - became Kinsman Redeemer for all who come to Him destitute and in need of salvation to believe in Him. So may we, who are born again through Jesus – the Bread of Life, born in the House of Bread – be houses of bread for all in need of hope, peace, life.
