The Parable of the Talents asks you: What are you doing with what God has given you as a child of God, with His promises as we await His Return”? The 5 talent and 2 talent servants both immediately went to put their talents to work. They didn’t know how long before the masters return. They immediately invested - which meant RISK. RISK meant possibility of loss…possibility of gain. Take note, the first 2 servants were commended for FAITHFULLNESS - not profit. “After a long time the master of those servants returned and settled accounts with them.” When Jesus comes again, what returns will He see from your investment in the Promises He gave you?
