We can think that the Christian life is one of ease. That if one has enough faith that sickness and difficulty must go. The other side of the coin is that the Christian life is as a warfare that demands courage and rugged self-discipline. The missionary CT Studd once said “Christ wants not nibblers of the possible, but grabbers of the impossible.” CT understood what God said in Romans 8:18 “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” The Impossible God’s people are empowered to grab comes, yes, with suffering but YES with an incomparable glory to be revealed in us!
