How it all started...
SHCC began in Arlington, Washington on May 8th in 1953 on our current property where Grandma Hershaw lived. Two pentecostal loggers felt the call of God to start a church and when they knocked on Mrs. Hershaw's door they were the answer to her prayers for the Sisco Heights area. They built the first church building next to her house and with a handful of people started a church. In 1985 they moved the church to its current location and added another 2,000 sq. ft. The Sanctuary is designed to seat 160 people.
The current pastor, Dan Eide, has been at SHCC since 2002, drawing the people closer to God, into the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and out to reach the community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
