Shield & Sword

The LIE the enemy uses to stunt our warfare? Believing that obedience to God will likely cause suffering or loss. Believing this lie in all its forms will water down one’s faith which stands on Christ’s finished work. Isaiah 54:17 tells us to REFUTE every accusing lie – which includes “truths” meant to drag you down. So it’s time to take up and put on the armor – the power of Christ active in us – to READ and APPLY the Word of God. To refute the lies, to allow the flaming accusations to fall on the Shield of Faith built from God’s promises and Christ’s work, and not allowing those arrows to pierce you.
