Encountering the Lamb of God

Treasure your salvation! Be thankful for the Lamb! Why was a Lamb necessary? We look back to the Passover Lamb introduced in Exodus for context and revelation. The blood of the lamb over the house caused judgment to pass over those living there. Then the sacrifice of the lamb became the way for men to bring repentance for their sin to the altar of God to seek forgiveness and atonement. And now? Jesus became my cover! Be thankful for the Lamb! Come before Him in repentance and allow Him to forgive – to set free – to give new life to you!
