Miracles

In Numbers 21 we see a simple call to look and live, in other words a call to look in faith and trust so that the Lord can show Himself worthy of that trust and bring life. The sin of grumbling against God brought judgement of snakes. The Cry to God brought an answer - NOT destruction of the snakes - rather to put a bronze serpent on a pole and if people choose to look up on it they’ll be healed. Looking on it was an admission - a confession of sin, a cry for redemption, a recognition that Gods power alone can deliver them from the destruction and sickness of their sins.
