Who is Your Shepherd?

Whatever dominates your attention to fill or refresh, to lead or comfort you - is your shepherd. Sheep don't need a shepherd because they are dumb. They need a Shepherd because they are dependent. Jesus is our Shepherd. He calls us by name & provides for us to know His voice. He takes up position, not only as the One who leads us, but also who positions Himself between us and the enemy.
