THE IMPORTANCE OF SPIRITUAL GROWTH

How does spiritual growth happen? Where does it begin? You weren’t called to be a missionary first. You weren’t called to be a discipler first. You weren’t called to be a scholar first. You weren’t called to be an intercessor first. You were called to be with Jesus first! All those things were secondary to the greatest purpose of all… of knowing and loving Jesus.

We’re called to get up and go after God. BREAKTHROUGH happens when we go after God. Spiritual growth happens when we go after Jesus, not to get something from Him, but to be with Him. THIS MUST BE OUR FIRST STEP in the ongoing pursuit of spiritual growth.
