God specifically tells us He does not want us to be ignorant about spiritual gifts. Further He says our abundance in spiritual gifts continues until Jesus returns (1 Cor 1:7). Therefore learn, grow, be active in spiritual gifts! Why? So His people move together in His Spirit to be His Body active in the World. Holy Spirit gifts manifested through us then manifest Him in the world we live in.+
